The Origin of the Mantras Used in Our Music

Mantras, Prayers and Sacred Words of Power

The mantras and sacred words of power recorded on our sacred music originate from the Judeo Christian lineage of the Holy Kabbalah and the various spiritual traditions of the East. The word Naam translates from Sanskrit to mean the ‘Word’ or ‘Name’. Naam Yoga regards the word and vibration as the most powerful force in the Universe and thus regards the practice of uttering words or sounds of power as the most important modality of yoga. Most of the mantras used in Naam Yoga come from Gurumuki (an Indian derived language,) Latin, Hebrew and English. Some of the mantras are derived from Sanskrit and Suffism.
